Obamania

As John McCain is about to start his concession speech I have to congratulate the new president of the USA.

We have been following the coverage live from the office and  I feel relieved about the outcome – change is imminent.  And I hope this will also change people’s perception of the US and its citizens – including my own.

There is no question that Barack Obama has tough times ahead of him, which is why it is all the more important he has his country’s support and why I am relieved that whom I felt to be the stronger candidate, beyond any race, has won.

Good luck President Obama!
