Europe vs Australia
Sometimes people who plan to visit us, ask if it would be possible to travel around and see all of Australia…in 2 weeks.
Our answer usually is this:

Yes there are 2 big deserts in this country/continent. But still, if you would like to see the main sights, it would take you at least 8 weeks, traveling in a big 8-shape, going down from Darwin to Adelaide (or up the other way around). Add to that Tasmania in the south and you could have seen it all in 10 weeks if you like…
Bram and I are spreading those over a couple of years or so, while working and living in Sydney.
Today we’re leaving for a roadtrip down the coast to the border between New South Wales and Victoria and back up via the Snowy Mountains and Canberra.

loaded and ready to go
To everyone a Merry Christmas and best wishes for 2010, see you then!

Have fun op de roadtrip. Ons 14 jaar oude Saabje hield het ook vol naar Victoria (en terug) met 49 graden, dan moet jullie Tokkie het zeker volhouden.
